Every American Standard Allegiance® air conditioner and Heritage® heat pump will now carry a 10-year limited warranty on the Duration® and Spine fin coil and a 5-year limited warranty on all other parts.

Every American Standard “X,” “Y,” or “Z” package unit will carry a 10-year limited warranty on the Duration compressor and outdoor coil and a 5-year limited warranty on all other parts.

All other American Standard cooling and heat pump models and package units, as well as gas furnaces, air handlers, coils, and accessories will now carry a 5-year internal function parts limited warranty. These new limited warranties, available beginning with installations after October 1, 2001, are only on residential installations for products manufactured in the year 2000 or after. Existing limited warranties on commercial products will remain unchanged.
