New Dryware Selection Software Released

COLVILLE, Wash. - Colmac Coil Manufacturing has introduced its new Dryware fluid cooler (dry cooler) selection software program.

The Colmac Dryware program rates standard or custom fluid coolers. Each fluid cooler is rated using state-of-the-art coil algorithms, not tables or estimations, says the company. The program allows the user to customize a fluid cooler by varying rows, fins per inch, fin height, fin length, motor horsepower, fan diameter, or fan layout. New Colmac fluid cooler tube and fin materials available include copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.

Dryware produces submittal drawings complete with drawing number, editable notes, and unit performance data. The model matrix was expanded to a range of sizes from fin heights of 24 to 114 inches, and finned lengths of 24 to 360 inches.

The Dryware selection routine uses searching logic to optimize fluid cooler selections based on a variety of input restrictions. This optimization routine can reduce unit cost by up to 40 percent over the standard catalog by finding the best solution for each particular application, the company says.

Included with the software user guide are engineering specification sheets, product literature, model nomenclature, and a help file. To receive a complimentary copy of the Dryware fluid cooler selection software CD, call 800-845-6778, fax 509-684-8331, or visit www.colmaccoil.com.
