NB Handy Expands Relationship With Iowa Precision

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Iowa Precision, a leader in coil processing, HVAC duct, furnace pipe, and fitting machinery and accessories, has announced the appointment of NB Handy Co. as its agent/distributor covering an extended territory including northern Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, eastern Pennsylvania, and southern New Jersey.

"Iowa Precision sets the standard in custom designed and manufactured automated coil processing solutions," said Paul Seufer, general manager for NB Handy's Machinery Division. "We are companies that share similar values for quality and service and comparable visions for the industry. Iowa Precision is a first-class company and extending our territory lends continuity to what NB Handy is doing."

Headquartered in Lynchburg, Va., NB Handy is staffed with machinery sales specialists and is backed by a sales support staff and the largest machinery service and repair group east of the Mississippi River, according to the company.

"NB Handy has extended their reach. They have put the capacity in place in terms of quality employees to forward the interests of both our company and our customers," said Dick Burkart, vice president of sales and marketing for Iowa Precision.

NB Handy has branch locations in Baltimore and Capitol Heights, Md. Two machinery service repair and service technicians are dispatched from Baltimore. The Machinery Group is located in Lynchburg, where a 24,000-square-foot facility has been dedicated to machinery inventory and sales support, including an 8,000-square-foot shop where machines are refurbished and rebuilt.

NB Handy has represented Iowa Precision since 1992. Burkart notes that out of almost 40 dealers nationwide, NB Handy has been among the top six dealers each year since the relationship began.
