The Solar Attic Fan is designed to vent up to 1,200 square feet. It is powered entirely by solar energy. According to the company, the design incorporates an angled throat to facilitate a venturi or suction effect to increase airflow, which increases the cfm output and reduces wear on the motor. The solar panel is fitted with a bracket so that the panel can be mounted either on the fan housing or directly on the roof. The raised bracket is designed to promote air circulation around the solar panel. The attic fan has a 25-year warranty on the housing, a 10-year warranty on the solar panel, and a five-year warranty on the motor.
