TheProcedural Standards for Measurement of Sound and Vibrationmanual stresses the practical aspects of measuring sound and vibration and provides the latest, up-to-date technology and procedures. The second edition of the book was entirely rewritten and focuses on the measurement and reporting techniques for obtaining sound and vibration data that a NEBB contractor and other professionals in the HVAC industry may need in the field. It specifies minimum requirements for sound and vibration work. The text also contains sample specifications that can be customized by engineers and specifiers to meet project requirements. Options have been included that allow the use of additional instruments, such as a sound level meter, vibration meter, or accelerometer, for obtaining sound and vibration measurements.
