ARLINGTON, Va. - North American Technician Excellence (NATE) is conducting a new job task analysis of its certification exams. NATE certification exams periodically undergo this thorough maintenance. NATE is seeking HVACR industry volunteers to aid and participate in the analysis process.
Volunteers will validate and review the Knowledge Areas of Technician Expertise (KATEs) and set the amount of questions to be asked from each section. The task will require conference call participation and review of the KATEs slated for this update.
Interested parties are invited to contact NATE with their name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and area of expertise (e.g., air conditioning, air distribution, heat pump, gas furnace, and/or oil furnace).
