A new dual-function switch is capable of replacing two separate switches in applications requiring both pressure and vacuum sensing. The MPL-501-P-V can sense both pressure and/or vacuum input in a common port and will switch two separate circuits in response. Actuation ranges can be very low (under 1 in. wc), or higher as required. Recommended ratings are from 10 to 20 mA. Custom devices can also be configured.
