CHICAGO - In light of the surge in the price of R-22, ICOR International is showcasing its NU-22B® refrigerant at this year’s AHR Expo.

NU-22B is designed to replace R-22, as well as R-407C and R-417A. According to the company, NU-22B closely mimics the operating characteristics of R-22. It’s compatible with all standard oils, equipment components, and materials used in R-22 systems. NU-22B is nonflammable, nontoxic, and is classified A1 by ASHRAE. It is also a zero ozone depleting potential (ODP) refrigerant.
