GreenRoo, an industrial-duty turbine ventilator, provides 5,000-10,000 cfm of airflow without the use of electricity. It is wind-driven, so there’s no electrical installation or operating costs, says the company. The ventilator is designed with a Varipitch component to make it usable on any roof slope. It comes in throat diameter sizes of 12, 24, and 36 inches, all weighing less than 70 pounds. According to the manufacturer, the GreenRoo is made of aluminum and stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, while high-performance bearings ensure unstoppable operation. The unit can be powder-coated to complement the color of the roof.
