These compact boilers take up less space than standard boilers for multiple boiler installations, with their original water content less than 1/20th the amount necessary in standard units of comparable horsepower, says the manufacturer. The boilers fit through normal access openings, allowing for easy retrofitting; for new facilities, the small footprint helps reduce building costs, the company says. The once-through, forced-circulation steam boilers maintain 85% fuel-to-steam efficiency, says the company.
