New 3-, 4-, and 5-inch diameter vents have been added to the Corr/Guard® Special Gas Vent line for condensing appliances. The single-wall design features snap-lock tabs, which click into locked position when the pipe is pushed together. A double-wall design is available, too. The vent line features a gold seal gasket that is molded, not extruded. According to the manufacturer, the design and manufacturing tolerances, along with the gold seal gasket, provide a watertight seal that prevents sag and "wobble" and requires fewer supports on horizontal runs. The flue is constructed of superferritic steel and is tested and labeled to UL 1738 for Category II, III, and IV gas-burning appliances.
