The new GeneSys™ air-cooled screw chillers feature solid-state starters as standard equipment. Together with aerodynamic fan blades and low-RPM motors, the chiller’s unique, single screw compressor design (single main rotor/two gate rotors) delivers low sound pressure levels that minimize background noise disruptions, the company states. The chiller delivers an efficiency of 10.0 to 10.6 EER at full load and up to 14.0 EER at Integrated Part-Load Value (IPLV). MicroTech II™ direct digital controls with Protocol Selectability™ allow integration into most building automation systems using open, standard protocols such as LonTalk® or BACnet®, the manufacturer states.
