FARMINGTON, Conn. - Robert McDonough joined Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp., as president of distribution and aftermarket, for Carrier’s Residential & Light Commercial Systems (RLCS) division.
In his new role, McDonough will lead RLCS’ sales, distribution, and aftermarket businesses, including Carrier-operated distribution, International Comfort Products, and the Replacement Components Division. He will be based in Indianapolis and report to Halsey Cook, president, RLCS.
McDonough has more than 26 years of general management, sales, and marketing experience in the HVACR industry, in both domestic and international markets.
He joins Carrier after spending 16 years with Lennox International, where he held the positions of president and COO of Worldwide Heating & Cooling and executive vice-president of Lennox International. He also has served as president of Lennox’s Worldwide Refrigeration and International Operations.
