May 7, 2010: ACCA Launches New HVACR Industry Website
ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has launched a new website for the HVACR industry featuring contractor profiles, industry news, and business intelligence.
ACCA said the new web portal, at www.ContractorExcellence.com, features specialty articles from the association’s magazine, Contractor Excellence, as well as online-only features designed to help contractors get new ideas and stay informed about the contracting industry.
According to the association, ContractorExcellence.com will focus on success stories, tips, and techniques from some of the most successful contractors in the industry. “There are many contractors all over the country doing some amazing, innovative things,” said Kevin Holland, ACCA vice president for business operations and membership. “ContractorExcellence.com will take its cues from them, showing how they implement new systems and technologies that improve their profitability and provide outstanding service. We’ll also be reaching out to experts from both within and outside the industry to challenge contractors with new concepts and ideas.”
ContractorExcellence.com is also designed to allow for back-and-forth conversation throughout the site. Every article offers contractors the opportunity to leave public comments, where they can discuss and debate the issues raised.
Other regular features include “The Buzz,” a weekly roundup of news and links of interest to the HVACR industry, and “The Poll,” a weekly survey of contractors on a variety of topics.
