May 31, 2011: Source Refrigeration & HVAC Expands Operations Into Florida

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Source Refrigeration & HVAC Inc. announced that it has begun service operations in Florida and is ready to meet the growing customer need for expert refrigeration and HVAC services in the greater Orlando, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Fort Myers markets. Source said it has relocated a number of experienced technical personnel and a seasoned leader to manage the new Florida operation and ensure the team would be immediately ready to provide its expertise to its customers. The company said it also plans to expand operations by hiring local talent from the community and to reach further south and east in the state.

“Refrigeration drives nearly half of a supermarket’s energy use, can significantly contribute to its carbon footprint, and can increase maintenance costs,” said Lauren Abrams, president and CEO of Source Refrigeration & HVAC. “As a result, we work closely with our customers both to improve efficiencies and to reduce energy and emissions as they consider and deploy new technologies.

“Expansion into the Florida market is part of an exciting growth initiative for Source,” added Abrams. “We are thrilled to bring our refrigeration and HVAC experience, expertise, and total solutions approach to the Florida market to help customers optimize system performance, better manage their energy usage, positively impact the environment, and lower their overall operating costs. Our goal is to establish long term partnerships with our customers and to deliver results that improve our environment and our customers’ bottom line.”

Source Refrigeration & HVAC partners with customers who have refrigeration/HVAC systems that are mission-critical to their business operations. The company has more than 30 branch locations and 1,000 employees focused on providing services to optimize the performance of commercial refrigeration/HVAC systems.
