ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) announced that Binsky & Snyder LLC (Piscataway, N.J.) has signed on to host a tour of its fabrication facility as part of MCAA's sold-out 2005 Pre-Fabrication Seminar, scheduled for May 12-13 in Philadelphia.

The tour will give attendees an opportunity to see Binsky & Snyder's 30,000-square-foot centrally located fabrication facility, which supports the company's field installations. The facility is segregated for reasons of quality control into fabrication areas for carbon steel, stainless steel, high purity and exotic alloys, and plastic. The carbon steel area utilizes equipment from Pandjiris, Ransom, Miller, and Lincoln. The stainless area produces fab in all schedules and grades of stainless, and Hastelloy, using the GTAW and GMAW welding processes. Automatic orbital welding is used for sanitary stainless steel tubing and schedule 10 pipe using Arc Machines equipment. Binsky & Snyder also has produced fabrication for the semiconductor industry under customer specified clean room conditions.

Founded as a small, family-owned residential plumbing firm in 1938, Binsky & Snyder has, through a steady, controlled rate of expansion, achieved a major presence in the industry. From standard industrial piping to ultra-high purity systems, it counts among its clients a number of Fortune 500 companies.

MCAA's 2005 Pre-Fabrication Seminar program is being presented by George Stuller of P1Group (Lawrence, Kan.) and Dan Miller of Dunbar Mechanical (Toledo, Ohio).
