March 3, 2005: Danfoss To Offer Subassembled Systems

BALTIMORE - Danfoss has announced the launch of a new business unit that will offer customers subassembled systems to meet their cooling needs. Danfoss Systems and Sub Assemblies, being set up by Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Division, will offer condensing units, refrigeration cassettes, and integrated refrigeration solutions for customers.

Karsten Andersen, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning vice president and newly appointed head of Systems and Sub Assemblies, said that customers will be getting a comprehensive package of solutions tailored to meet their individual needs. "This new business unit helps create and provide even more value for our customers. We have world-class expert knowledge on cooling, applications, and components. We offer our customers the opportunity to utilize this by letting us help to develop subassembled systems, while they develop their business."

According to Danfoss, the new business unit's subsystems will be designed and manufactured for a variety of applications, complementing the existing product portfolio that Danfoss offers to its customers.
