March 2, 2006: Emerson Reaches Out to Industrial Contractors

ST. LOUIS - Emerson Climate Technologies has launched an initiative to develop and strengthen relationships with industrial contractors who install, repair, and service refrigeration equipment for chillers, warehouse refrigeration equipment, and commercial rooftop air conditioning applications.

Emerson's objective is to inform contractors of the products, tools, knowledge, and support they need to expand their business, stay at the forefront of emerging trends, and fulfill the energy-efficiency needs of their customers. The company also intends to work directly with the contractors to obtain their reactions to products and services currently in development, enhance their awareness and knowledge of new and emerging technologies, and gather their feedback on industry issues and concerns.

"It is important for Emerson Climate Technologies to provide the industry and our customers with the most up-to-date information on new technologies, products, and services available in their industrial and commercial applications," said Matt Brown, contractor support manager for Emerson Climate Technologies. "Contractors play an integral role in the industry, so it is vital that we provide support for these products in the marketplace, creating opportunities for contractors to expand their understanding of the Emerson products."

As part of its efforts to strengthen relationships with industrial contractors, Emerson Climate Technologies recently introduced a product brochure specifically focused on efficient solutions for commercial and industrial applications. In addition, Emerson is working with wholesalers to provide the tools needed for working successfully with industrial and commercial contractors.
