March 17, 2003: Powercold Announces Marketing Relationship With Rheem

LAVERNIA, Texas — PowerCold Corporation has announced a cooperative relationship with Rheem Manufacturing Company, Air Conditioning Division, for the sale of complete commercial air conditioning, heating, and ventilation packages to national accounts having multiple properties throughout the nation.

Rheem equipment will be marketed, engineered, installed, and serviced by PowerCold. National restaurants, retail stores, shopping malls, and other chain franchise operations are the primary customers PowerCold will serve.

Ultimate Comfort Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of PowerCold, will become a key customer of Park Supply. Park Supply is a Rheem distributor serving the greater Chicago metropolitan area, southern Illinois, the Indianapolis metropolitan area, and northwest Kentucky. The relationship of Ultimate Comfort Systems with Park Supply and its parent Pameco Corporation provides access to air distribution systems, including ducting and assembly, from over 350 locations nationwide. Rheem will support the relationship with promotional literature, technical specification information, performance software, and other product support services.

Robert Yoho, president of PowerCold's Ultimate Comfort Systems, said, "This new relationship with one of the world's leading air conditioning and heating manufactures will enable us to offer one-stop solutions for complete volume-based HVAC installation packages for delivery anywhere in the Western Hemisphere. The installations will be custom engineered by Ultimate Comfort Systems for our national chain clients and will provide clean, fresh air with humidity and temperature controls using energy efficient, low maintenance systems. And, we will be able to ship in a matter of days not weeks. We expect this exciting new relationship will add to PowerCold's growth momentum in 2003."

David Blackwell, Rheem's national accounts manager, said, "PowerCold is a known and respected national accounts provider to high-volume commercial customers looking for high quality, dependable products. This relationship significantly increases access to Rheem products by high-profile national businesses with critical comfort and service requirements. We are also pleased that this arrangement is supported by a strong distribution partner like Park Supply."
