Manufacturers Offer Green Rebates

ST. LOUIS - Westinghouse dealers will have another selling tool this fall and winter. Westinghouse has just announced the “Go Green, Save Green” rebate program on select ecoLogic products. The rebate is valid on furnaces and ecoLogic units purchased between Nov. 1, 2008, and Jan. 31, 2009. The rebate structure encourages homeowners to replace their furnace and outdoor unit at the same time. Homeowners can receive from $400 to $1,200 back when they purchase both a new two-stage or modulating furnace and a matched ecoLogic air conditioner or heat pump.

For homeowners who want to only replace their furnaces, participating Westinghouse dealers can offer rebates ranging from $150 to $450. Rebates up to $800 are also available on select ecoLogic home comfort systems, including split systems and packaged units.

Tappan dealers are offering the “Go Green, Save Green” rebate program on select ecoLogic products as well. Valid over the same time period, homeowners can receive from $400 to $1,200 back when they purchase both a new two-stage or modulating furnace and a matched ecoLogic air conditioner or heat pump. Participating Tappan dealers can also offer rebates ranging from $150 to $450. Rebates up to $800 are available on select ecoLogic home comfort systems, including split systems and packaged units.
