  • Glasfloss Industries Inc. (Dallas, TX) awarded Mike Woolsey, district sales manager for the company, with the “Top Gun” sales award for 2002. Woolsey earned the honor by managing a sales territory with the largest dollar increase in a 12-month period.

  • Crystal Distribution Inc. (CDI) (Minneapolis, MN) has named Mark Greenwood to head its engineering division.

  • Chromalox (Pittsburgh, PA) has received ISO 9001 certification for its La Vergne, TN, operations that design, manufacture, and service electronic controls and heating cable.

  • Steril-Aire Inc. (Cerritos, CA) has appointed Robert M. Culbert, P.E., as director of engineering and Charles T. (Tim) Jones as plant manager.

  • The Big Ass Fan Company (Lexington, KY) recently went online with its redesigned website. The company says the new website has several interactive features and can be accessed at www.bigassfans.com.
