• Wolseley plc’s (Reading, U.K.) Chip Hornsby stepped down as group chief executive. The company appointed Ian Meakins as his successor, effective immediately.

• Regal Beloit’s (Beloit, Wis.) Fort Wayne, Ind., Development Lab facility was granted Client Test Data Program (CTDP) certification by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
