  • Thybar Corp. (Addison, Ill.) named Paul Selman (right) as seismic engineer.

  • Reliable Controls (Victoria, British Columbia) promoted Michael Osborne to manager of software/firmware development; Vince Palmer to vice president of operations; and James Puritch to vice president of research and development.

  • Baltimore Aircoil Co. (Baltimore) appointed Luke Rubino as plant manager of its Madera, Calif., manufacturing facility replacing retiring plant manager Douglas White. It also appointed Bruce Kietzman (right) as plant manager of its Paxton, Ill., manufacturing facility.

  • Allied Air Enterprises' (Bellevue, Ohio) Bill Houser, eastern regional sales manager, announced his retirement.

  • Embraco Snowflake Compressor Co. Ltd. (Beijing) opened a new factory on the outskirts of Beijing, dedicated to the production of the company's new EM compressor.
