  • Carrier Corp. (Indianapolis) announced its Carrier Distinguished Dealer award recipients for 2004 included Bel-O Sales and Service Inc. (Belleville, Ill.), Perry's Refrigeration Inc. (Lima, Ohio), and R.H. Witt Heating (Glenview, Ill.).

  • International Comfort Products (ICP) Mission Victory Tour is going to 36 cities to prepare 3,000 dealers and contractors for the changes coming to the HVAC industry in 2006. For schedules and to sign up for the program, interested individuals should contact their local distributor of ICP products.

  • Fenwal Controls Inc. (Ashland, Mass.) hired Carlos Carvalho as controls engineering manager and Kevin Norby as product configuration manager.

  • The Italian group ACC (Appliances Components Companies) has launched a new Web page,

  • Zero Zone Inc. (North Prairie, Wis.) promoted Dan O'Brien to national sales manager.

  • Lochinvar Corp. (Lebanon, Tenn.) announced a new record with 25 consecutive years of increased sales.

  • AST ElectroFin (Louisville, Ky.) has opened a new 55,000-square-foot facility in Jacksonville, Texas.

  • Luxaire Heating and Air Conditioning (Norman, Okla.) has a 2005 spring promotion offering customers a choice of a cash back rebate up to $1,500, special 12-month, no payment/same as cash financing, or a 10-year parts and labor Performance Promise Extended Protection Plan. The promotion applies to purchases on qualifying equipment made between April 15 and June 30, 2005.
