  • DuctSox (Dubuque, Iowa) has named Tom Barrow Co. (Atlanta) as the “DuctSox 2002 Rep Firm of the Year.” The announcement was made during the 2003 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) held in Chicago.

  • Carrier Corporation (Farmington, Conn.) presented the Willis Carrier Lifetime Achievement Award to William S. Bodinus, P.E., ASHRAE Fellow and Life Member. The award was presented in Chicago at the AHR Expo.

  • In the industry’s Product Performance Certification Program for Unitary Small Air-Conditioners, the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) (Arlington, Va.) has recognized Goettl Air Conditioning Inc. (Phoenix) for 100% success rates for the three-year period from 1999 to 2001.

  • Source 1, the aftermarket division of York International Corporation’s Unitary Products Group (UPG) (Norman, Okla.), has named The Climatic Corporation (Columbia, S.C.) as its 2002 National Distributor of the Year.

  • Uniqema (Chicago) has appointed Scott A. Davis as the Midwest senior technical sales representative of lubricants. The company also announced that Bruce Calvert has joined the lubricants technical team.

  • Rheem Manufacturing (Fort Smith, Ark.) has partnered with The Nationwide Tour, a Professional Golf Association (PGA) tournament.
