The Unitary Products Group (UPG) of York International Corp. (Norman, OK) announced an agreement with Notifact Corp. (Fairfield, NJ) to incorporate Notifact’s wireless technology into York Wireless™, a monitoring system that allows “plug and play” communications to York commercial heating and air conditioning units.

Carrier Corp. (Farmington, CT) has formed a development and sales agreement with Tridium, Inc. (Richmond, VA). The agreement will provide Carrier with a Web-enabled software platform, Tridium’s Niagara Framework, to further broaden Carrier Comfort Network™ (CCN) products and services.

Moore Industries (North Hills, CA) has purchased Powers Process Controls Instrument Division (Skokie, IL), a unit of Crane Corp.

SimplexGrinnell (Houston, TX) has become a new member in the Microsoft Certified Partner program. The company was named to the program for its competence on the latest Microsoft technologies.

Airxchange Inc. (Rockland, MA) announced that all of its energy recovery ventilation cassettes will carry a standard 5-year limited manufacturing warranty. The warranty went into effect on Jan. 1, 2002.

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream (Oakland,CA) has named Triton Food Equipment, LLC (Franklin, TN), as the exclusive supplier for its Grand Soft® system nationwide. Triton will be responsible for future enhancements to the existing models and for development of new equipment.

Siemens (Atlanta, GA) will add a Busch Grand National car to is existing Winston Cup sponsorship of Bill Davis Racing. The company will continue as the major associate sponsor with Bill Davis Racing’s #23 Hills Brothers Dodge, driven by Hut Stricklin, and will take on the role of primary sponsor of 17 races with Busch Series driver Scott Wimmer.
