The Knightâ„¢ commercial condensing heating boiler has a fully modulating burner with a 5:1 turndown and a cascading feature that allows multiple boilers to be controlled by one central boiler. It features the Smart Systemâ„¢ operating control with a user-friendly interface. The boiler's self-diagnostic features can interface with a PC to speed up service calls and show trends in energy consumption. The two-line, 16-character LCD uses clear English, not alphanumeric codes, to communicate with technicians. The Knight has an efficiency rating of 93 percent AFUE on the 80 to 285s models and a 91 percent AFUE rating on the 399 and 500 models. A total of seven models are available. The direct-vent boiler allows for up to 100 feet of air intake and 100 feet of flue gas exhaust with PVC pipe, without a chimney, and it has zero clearance to combustible materials.
