LEBANON, Tenn. - Lochinvar Corp. announced Ken Tingey of Tingey Plumbing & Heating in Murray, Utah, as the grand prizewinner in its VIP Contractor Showcase. Tingey was awarded first place for his installation of the Knight Heating Boiler® at The Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah. Five other VIP Contractors were also selected as finalists.

To be considered for the contest, VIP Contractors submitted descriptions of their recent Knight installations to be featured on the company’s Website. Based on these entries, a panel of Lochinvar judges selected monthly winners from November 2007 through April 2008 and awarded each of them a $250 gift card to Cabela’s or Bass Pro Shops. After reviewing the six monthly finalists, the judges chose Tingey’s installation as the grand prizewinner.

The remaining five monthly winners were named finalists of the VIP Contractor Showcase, including Joe DiBacco of Comfort Zone Heating & Cooling Inc., North Billerica, Mass.; Paul Rohrs of Biggerstaff Radiant Solutions, Lincoln, Neb.; Gary Harper of Excel Mechanical Co., Des Moines, Iowa; Douglass Reammell of Three Peaks Plumbing, Tetonia, Idaho; and David Young of R & H Mechanical, Eagle, Colo.
