A new generation of Disto™ handheld, laser distance measuring tools is available. The A3 Model contains an integrated spirit-level function, which allows for horizontal alignment. Features of this model include a water-spray resistant and dustproof keypad and an illuminated display. The unit offers a measuring range of 0.16 to 325 feet (0.05 to 100 meters) with a typical accuracy of ±0.12 inches (±3 millimeters). The A5's features include integrated viewfinder with 2x magnification and indirect height/width measurement, which allows measurement of inaccessible locations. The measuring range of the A5 is 0.16 to 650 feet (0.50 to 200 meters) with a typical accuracy of ±0.08 inches (±2 millimeters). The Disto plus Model contains free, entry-level PlusDraw and PlusXL software and integrated BlueTooth® technology, which permits wireless transfer of measurement values to a pocket PC or laptop. This model has a measuring range of 0.7 to 650 feet (0.2 to 200 meters) with a typical accuracy of ±0.06 inches (±1.5 millimeters).
