LadderPort is a permanent building-mounted ladder receiver. The receivers mount to almost any commercial or industrial building, holding an extension ladder safely in place. The hooks grab the rungs of the ladder, preventing them from slipping backward, while the side plates keep the ladder from sliding sideways. Three models are available: Standard, Gutter, and Adjustable. They allow the user to walk safely through the grab bars instead of around the ladder. Many buildings have removed permanently mounted ladders due to U.S. Department of Homeland Security directives; LadderPort provides technicians an alternative for safely accessing a roof with an extension ladder.
