The Fast Rack™ system Model 1280 ladder rack is designed to install on a pickup truck in about an hour, half the time of typical ladder racks, the company says. It takes only eight bolts to assemble and 12 bolts to install, yet the system is strong enough to hold up to 1,000 lb load capacity, says the company. A vehicle-specific cross member kit is available for a custom fit. The system works with bed liners because it mounts on the truck bedrails. The legs come welded to the top and bottom side rails to reduce installation time, the manufacturer says.
