The Klo-Shure® Insulation Coupling is a new way to install insulation on copper tubing used for refrigerant lines, hot- and cold-water plumbing, and chilled-water systems, the company states. The copper tube is supported independently of the insulation. The coupling can be slit open easily to facilitate installation, and later secured with the provided metal clip, or used unopened by sliding it over tubing as it is being installed, states the company. The couplings support 1/4- to 2-1/8-inch diameter copper tubing and secure 3/8- to 1-inch-thick tubing insulation.
