The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) today announced that John Lanier, chief operating officer (COO) of North American Technician Excellence (NATE), will perform the same role for AHRI, while continuing to lead NATE.

ACCA announced it will be offering continuing education units (CEUs) for Building Performance Institute (BPI) and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) credit, and HVAC CEUs for the states of Alabama and Ohio, during its ACCA 2015 conference.

At the 2014 Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) Annual Conference in San Antonio, North American Technician Excellence (NATE) recognized 10 HARDI member companies for their outstanding efforts to promote NATE technician certification in the HVACR industry.

North American Technician Excellence (NATE) honored several companies during the recent Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) Conference in Phoenix.

NATE will now certify technicians in two years, a significant reduction from the previous five-year requirement. 

Though he’s only been on the job for about six months, John Lanier has set a vision for NATE that earned him NEWSmaker recognition.
