June 18, 2003: Eagle Technology Offers Free CMMS Training

MEQUON, Wis. — Industry experts agree that training is key to improving the success rate of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) implementations, says Eagle Technology. Because of this, the CMMS supplier says it is now offering an industry first by providing free training with every new purchase of its ProTeus Maintenance Management products.

According to Eagle Technology, a CMMS system is only as successful as the people responsible for its operation and usage. Well-trained employees not only make sure the CMMS gets implemented, but also help assure that the benefits it was designed to provide — increased productivity, decreased overtime, less paperwork, and increased organization — are achieved, says the company.

The free training will be provided for one employee per company and is conducted at Eagle's Mequon facility. Additional employees may attend the class at normal rates. The free training is based on availability.
