June 1, 2006: HomeStar Services Acquires N.J. Contractor

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. - HomeStar Services LLC, a consolidator of heating, cooling, and plumbing services companies, recently completed its purchase of Air – O – Smith Inc., Randolph, N.J.

As a result of this acquisition, HomeStar said it will provide HVAC services to existing and new customers in Essex and Morris counties in the New Jersey-Pennsylvania area.

Tom Sellitto has joined HomeStar to run the operations of Air – O – Smith, which has been servicing and installing commercial and residential systems for over 10 years. Sellitto brings over 25 years of experience managing residential services and installation services in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

"This is an outstanding operation with impressive customer satisfaction records, and they share our vision of bringing bundled HVAC services to consumers. We are thrilled to bring them under the HomeStar umbrella," said Angelo Catania, president of HomeStar.

This purchase continues HomeStar's strategy of acquiring contractor companies in New Jersey. This addition follows HomeStar's acquisition in 2005 of Gilson & Sons Inc., a factory-authorized Carrier dealer, located in Upper Saddle River, N.J.
