WOODSTOCK, Ill. - Henry Technologies Inc. and Hendricks Holdings Company Inc. have announced that Hendricks Holdings has acquired 100 percent of the stock of Henry Technologies. Hendricks Holdings, of Beloit, Wis., is owned by Ken and Diane Hendricks.

Henry Technologies, headquartered in Woodstock, Ill., is a 91-year-old privately held manufacturer of components used in commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning. The company markets its products worldwide to leading original equipment manufacturers, wholesalers, and contractors. It has manufacturing locations in Chatham, Ill., Brantford, Ontario, and Glasgow, Scotland. Its products are sold under the Henry Valve, AC&R, and Chil-Con brand names.

According to the companies, the acquisition will enable Henry Technologies to aggressively pursue a growth strategy and take advantage of opportunities to expand into new market areas and product line offerings. Henry has announced that Curtis Watkins has been named president, Charlie Graham has been appointed executive vice president operations, and Kellee Thomas will assume the position of senior vice president of sales and marketing. The company has retained John Pickell as director of sales and marketing, Alex Barclay as general manager of Canadian operations, and Sandy MacDonald as general manager of U.K. operations.

Henry's new strategy will include the establishment of a distribution center in Beloit, Wis., to service the refrigeration wholesale market throughout North America. "We are excited about the opportunity to acquire a company with a well known quality product, and the opportunity to see Henry return to a level of excellence focused on customer service, profitability, and a great place to work," said Ken Hendricks.
