PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Nortek Inc. has announced the appointment of Eric Roberts as president of Nortek’s CES Group Inc. Roberts succeeds David Huntley, who has retired as the leader of Nortek’s custom commercial HVAC business.
Richard L. Bready, chairman and CEO of Nortek, said, “Eric brings to the CES Group a solid, proven track record of driving outstanding results in the commercial HVAC business, most recently as chief operating officer of McQuay Americas.” Bready particularly cited Roberts’ managerial ability “to grow a business through customer-focused leadership.”
Prior to 1997 when he joined McQuay, Roberts was director of marketing of the Mobile Business Group of Onan Corp., a division of Cummins Engine Co.
The CES Group includes the custom commercial HVAC businesses of Nortek’s subsidiaries with manufacturing operations in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Its leading brands include Cleanpak™, Governair™, Huntair®, Mammoth®, Temtrol®, Venmar CES™, Ventrol®, Webco™, and Eaton-Williams.
