Jan. 18, 2006: Controls Group Adds Crestron As Preferred Vendor

BREA, Calif. - Controls Group North America (CGNA) has reached an agreement with Crestron Inc. to become a preferred vendor. CGNA's 35-member association of HVAC controls distributors is one of the largest networks of integration distributors in the nation. According to CGNA, this partnership with Crestron will allow its distributors to expand their presence in the building automation market.

Crestron, a leading manufacturer of control technologies, provides products, support, and engineering services for open systems building automation. The company was originally a leader in home automation but it has evolved to become a source for centrally and globally controlled building automation.

Controls Group North America is headquartered in Brea, Calif. With its online inter-member inventory and marketing services, CGNA connects one of the largest groups of controls distributors in North America with 35 members, 125 branches, and a customer base of over 50,000 contractors.
