Jan. 12, 2005: Energy Service Company Adds Frigi-Tech Product

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - The California branch of TechLite, a national energy service company headquartered in Tulsa, Okla., has announced that it will distribute Frigi-Tech, a halogenated hydrocarbon compound designed to improve mechanical efficiency of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment including chillers, heat pumps, and hermetically sealed lubrication systems.

The compound, which is manufactured by Frigi-Tech International Inc., is said to reduce internal friction between refrigerant and metal surfaces and to enhance heat exchange capability.

TechLite, which provides design and installation of lighting upgrades, is adding the HVACR product as part of its energy conservation emphasis, said J. D. Arvidson, president. "We are pleased to add Frigi-Tech to our line of energy conservation products and services. Power costs are a major contributor to every organization's operating overhead. TechLite's products and services help reduce the cost of operating a building by 20 percent or more."
