A new line of HEPA filter/UVC germicidal air filtration units for building space microbial control is available. The ISO®-HEPA/UVC units are sized to provide a minimum of 12 room air changes per hour, with 99.99% HEPA filtration efficiency at 0.3 micron particle size, while offering a high-performance fly-by kill capability for mold and bacteria, the manufacturer says. Features include top-diffuser grille and adjustable fan speed control. The portable units have casters, so they can roll through standard doorways and into elevators, the company says. The above-the-ceiling hideaway models feature end-to-end, straight-through airflow pattern, the manufacturer states. The ISO-HEPA/UVC-500 units have a maximum airflow capacity of 500 CFM, while the ISO-HEPA/UVC-1000 has a maximum airflow capacity of 1,000 CFM.
