MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — The Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) announced that on Sept. 15, 2000, ISO Standard 14644-2, “Cleanrooms and Associated Controlled Environments — Part 2: Specifications for Testing and Monitoring to Prove Continued Compliance with ISO 14644-1,” was made available.

Standard 14644-2 specifies requirements for monitoring and periodic testing of a cleanroom or clean zone to prove its continued compliance with 14644-1, which designates classification of airborne particulate cleanliness.
