A poll conducted by Scripps Howard News Service and Ohio University from June 17 to 28 shows that 51% of Americans believe that high energy prices will fade and do not indicate that the country is in an energy crisis. However, over 80% of the respondents said that they buy energy-efficient appliances and products.
