The Comfortmaker PAM3 air conditioning unit and PHM3 heat pump are designed for manufactured housing applications. Both units use R-22 and offer 13 SEER efficiency. In addition, the PHM3 has a heating efficiency of 7.7 HSPF. Features include slip-in electric heat from 5 to 20 kW, Copeland scroll compressor, Advanced Air Management System for quieter operation, high-static indoor blower, and externally mounted gauge ports for accurate reading of operating conditions while servicing. For either rooftop or ground installation, the equipment contains round duct flanges with a retainer bead for easy flex duct connection. The single-phase units are available in 2 to 5 tons. They have a painted base with embossed support rails, a triple-coated galvanized steel cabinet, sturdy wire inlet grille, and UV-rated vinyl mesh on the surface of the condenser coil for additional protection. A TXV controls the refrigerant flow in select models.
