INDIANAPOLIS - The network of distributors currently stocking One Shot® refrigerant produced by ICOR International Inc. has expanded to 950 locations nationwide. ICOR introduced One Shot in March of 2004, and it is now being used in a broad range of system applications by scores of refrigeration technicians.

One Shot is a non-ozone-depleting, nontoxic, nonflammable replacement for use in low-temperature systems originally designed for R-502. It can also be used to replace R-22 in commercial and industrial refrigeration applications such as racks, walk-ins, refrigerated warehouses, and refrigerated transport.

"This refrigerant is a real problem solver for the industry," said Gordon McKinney, VP/COO of ICOR International. "One Shot is making technician's lives much easier as they avoid labor intensive and costly oil changes associated with converting systems to other HFC refrigerants. ICOR is adding dozens of new stocking distributors each month, and we estimate having 2000 wholesale locations stocking One Shot by the end of the first quarter of 2006."
