At the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute’s (ARI’s) annual meeting, held recently at the La Quinta Resort and Club in La Quinta, CA, News publisher John Conrad surprised outgoing ARI president Dan Holmes with a $5,900 check made out to the Clifford H. “Ted” Rees Jr. Scholarship Foundation. On behalf of The News, Conrad was more than happy to present the financial contribution to the scholarship fund, established by ARI to help incoming students in the HVACR trade.
