Sessions will begin testing at 1 p.m. on each day, and applicants must present an EPA certification card or valid student ID from an hvacr training program. On Wednesday Jan. 31, a special session will be held for instructors and test administrators, beginning at 9 a.m.
The exams will include electrical certification (the prerequisite to all other exams), air-conditioning certification (the prerequisite for all other cooling and refrigeration exams), gas heat certification, electric heat certification, heat pump certification, and commercial refrigeration certification.
All exams include theory, service scenarios, and troubleshooting questions.
