Impact Innovator doors take a new approach to refrigeration door construction, reducing energy costs and increasing product illumination, says the company. The doorframe is made of nonconductive materials instead of aluminum, and the door uses triple-pane glass, non-metallic spacers, and optimal air spacing to eliminate the need for anti-sweat heaters, the manufacturer says. Compared to traditional doors, the new design provides a 25% reduction in energy costs; lightmeter comparisons show product displays to be 40% brighter with the new doors, the company says.
