HRAI Rolls Out New Tools

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) announced it is now making available complimentary Indoor Air Quality Awareness promotion tools.

Last fall, the Manufacturers Division developed an IAQ awareness presentation that has been presented by manufacturer members at several HRAI chapter meetings across Canada. The presentation (along with detailed speaker notes) is now available at no cost to members. If manufacturers are training their dealers, wholesalers are educating their customers, or contractors are training their staff, HRAI said this information is a “must have” to enhance IAQ awareness. The presentation can be accessed from the members’ only section of HRAI’s website under “presentations.” As an added benefit, contractors can download the “IAQ Assessment Tool” for diagnosing and recommending IAQ solutions to customers.

HRAI also introduced an online buyer’s guide covering over 120 product categories that HRAI manufacturer members sell in the Canadian market. The guide features search capabilities by product category or company name. Visit www.hrai.ca and click on the “Buyers Guide” on the left-hand menu to search for HVACR products.
