HRAI Programs Get Assistance

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has made financial assistance available once again to those attending the Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Institute of Canada’s (HRAI’s) SkillTech Academy. The assistance will be provided for individuals who attend specific HRAI training programs during the 2003 fall course schedule and the 2004 winter/spring course schedule.

Assistance is available to those attending HRAI’s “Residential Heat Loss & Heat Gain Calculations,” “Residential Air System Design,” “Residential Integrated Combo Systems,” “Residential Mechanical Ventilation Installation,” and “Residential Mechanical Ventilation Design” training programs from Sept. 8, 2003 until March 31, 2004.

The decision came following a pilot project this spring where an NRCan subsidy of $200 per person was provided to 270 individuals who attended HRAI courses.
