Hot New Products Available This Winter

Summer seems barely over, but it’s time to start thinking about all the new boilers, furnaces, and heat pumps offered by the industry’s manufacturers. Yes, it’s time once again for The News’ annual Heating Showcase. This issue introduces the latest heating units that are available for the upcoming heating season.

The intent is to help contractors prepare for winter by putting key product information at their fingertips. The information included with this Showcase issue is based on what contractors have told us they’d like to see.

Multifaceted Coverage

The spotlight is on new residential, light commercial, and combined residential/light commercial units.

The Showcase includes product grids, which include technical facts such as unit tonnage, heating type, warranty availability, and Btuh. These charts appear on pages 15 and 16, and list the new products in each category alphabetically by manufacturer’s name. The photo feature, which begins on page 17, provides more in-depth information on each unit, highlighting benefits and additional features. Technical support information is also included where available, plus information on how to contact manufacturers and/or distributors.

All of the data included in both the product grids and the photo feature were provided by the manufacturers. Therefore, questions should be directed to them via the contact information provided.

The News’ annual Heating Showcase issue is meant to be a tool for contractors to use when preparing for the heating season.
